About The Team
GrapeData (www.grape-data.com) is a tech-enabled survey solution that specializes in reaching hard-to-find audiences globally for private equity, strategy consulting firms, hedge funds, and market-research agencies. By blending online and offline channels, we recruit highly specific cohorts of professionals and consumers to source the proprietary data crucial for due diligence, market sizing, and strategic investment decisions. Our headquarters are in London, with offices in the United States and continental Europe.
About The Role
We are hiring a Strategic Project Manager to join our strategic operations team. This person will manage the end-to-end delivery of high-impact survey projects for top-tier clients such as BCG, EY-Parthenon, Apax Partners, etc. You will take ownership of live projects from brief to dataset delivery, ensuring quality, speed, and strategic alignment. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a consulting background who wants to keep on engaging with clients and applying strategic thinking, but wants more autonomy, flexibility to accommodate a better work life, clear incentives, and a path to executive responsibilities.
What you will do:
- Own the delivery engine: Take charge of client projects and operate as the central orchestrator of delivery. You will turn commercial wins into operational reality, managing everything from feasibility to final client deliverables.
- End-to-end ownership: Scope new research projects, coordinate with our contributor teams to recruit niche audiences globally, monitor data collection progress, and ensure every insight meets client expectations.
- Client-facing: Manage communications with high-stakes clients throughout the lifecycle of a project. Anticipate issues before they arise and manage client expectations with credibility.
- Strategic operations: Go beyond execution. Provide feedback on feasibility models, pricing strategies, product improvements, and contribute directly to how we scale our operations.
- High visibility within the firm: Work closely with the C-suite and product teams. Your insights and feedback will impact our product, pricing, and business model.
- Own reporting of the accounts you will own/manage: Keep the CRM up to date with new RFPs and closed deals, update on a weekly basis the internal tracking system, owning forecasts and tracking metrics.
Who you are:
- You are customer centric and can build trust quickly.
- You are structured, analytical, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
- You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making decisions based on incomplete data.
The ideal candidate will have the following previous experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in strategy consulting.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and delivering under tight deadlines.
- Based in European time zones (BST or CET: London or other European capitals).
- Previous experience working with private equity clients / PE due diligence is a plus.
- Experience with data collection, market research, or expert networks is a plus.
What we offer:
- Base Salary: Competitive
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus tied to successful project delivery
- Stock options: Included. You will become part of our DNA and benefit from our growth
- Career progression: The right individual will be able to build a team around a client, vertical or geography.
- Ownership: A chance to leave a mark on our core delivery systems and client experience
- Holidays: 20 days + your birthday off
