Who we are looking for
A Software Developer, who will develop, enhance and support our industry-leading product offering. Working within the core system team, you will enhance and support our Bet Builder product, designed for high volume and low latency, to enable bet placement on various aspects within a single match. You will be involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and operational support of the product, ensuring the highest standards are maintained to meet the needs of a constantly evolving sector. With a solid foundation in software development, your technical knowledge, people skills, and passion will be invaluable to the team's success. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside talented developers, focusing on business needs and exciting projects, with excellent opportunities to develop professionally. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of server-side development, such as services, systems, messaging and middleware.
- Familiar with functional programming, such as Go, Erlang, C++, Haskell, F# or Scala.
- Knowledge of distributed systems.
- Familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience in client-server development.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related subject, or relevant industry experience.

- Developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
- Creating concurrent distributed components.
- Working on Linux and GNU utilities.
- Supporting and enhancing the existing code base.
