Paragon are working exclusively with an incoming EU Gas portfolio manager, who will be building the gas business within a $25BN AUM multi strategy hedge fund. He is looking for a hybrid Data/Software Engineer to work on his desk. This person will work with one other data scientist and build the trading/data infrastructure from the ground up which will augment the trading process.
Focus will be on ingesting data from internal and external sources (e.g., exchanges, weather APIs, logistics systems, market feeds like ICE, CME, Reuters, Bloomberg).
Looking for 3-6 years experience in a relevant role and ideally some exposure to commodities data sets. Strong Python and exposure to Airflow is a must.
