Video Editor & Videographer – In-House Role (Exeter Based) | Tide Media Exeter, UK | UK Driving Licence Required | Regular International Travel
This is a full-time, in-house position based at our Exeter studio. Remote or hybrid applications will not be considered.
Tide Media is looking for a powerhouse videographer/editor — not a film school graduate or hobbyist, but a proven content creator who can shoot, edit, and deliver modern, high-performance visuals for leading global brands.

About the RoleWe’re not interested in corporate drones or wedding reels. We’re after creators who craft high-impact content for social-first channels, understand brand identity, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. You’ll be working with top-tier clients across marine, automotive, adventure and action sports sectors, helping shape digital narratives that move the needle.
You’ll:- Film and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Build cinematic edits and high-end trailers that elevate our client brands
- Execute full video projects from storyboard to delivery
- Work solo or with a crew on national and international shoots
- Support our long-form content strategy across Tide’s and client YouTube channels
- Stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform developments
- Use graphics, titles, and sound design to enhance story and impact
- 3+ years of professional video editing and production experience
- Proven portfolio of fast-cut, emotionally charged, and brand-consistent video content
- Deep understanding of platform-native formats and trends
- Experience filming with Sony FX / Alpha series or equivalent professional systems
- Pro-level in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Strong sense of story, rhythm, and style — especially in short-form digital content
- Comfortable working under tight turnarounds and delivering multiple assets per project
- Able to interpret brand tone, guidelines, and commercial objectives
- Highly organised with file management and archiving workflows
This role requires your full-time presence in our Exeter HQ — if you’re not local or willing to relocate, please do not apply. A full UK driving licence is essential — you’ll often be out on location across the UK. Expect occasional international travel — we shoot for brands in across the US, Dubai, China, and across Europe. Work permits will be provided / sponsored for international travel.
