Exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronic Engineer looking to lead innovative technology projects. Join one of the UK's fastest-growing SMEs, specialising in safety solution devices. We are seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer to help drive the expansion of a design department and develop hardware and embedded software for a new and expanding product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing hardware and embedded software for use within the organisation’s product lines.
- Providing technical guidance to team members.
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines within the organisation.
- Leading on identifying areas of improvement and assisting in implementing new processes.

Requirements and Experience:
- Must have a degree or similar qualification in Electronics Engineering or comparable subject.
- Sustained experience in electronics hardware design, development and testing; including PCB schematic design and layout (essential).
- Sustained experience in embedded firmware design, development, and testing (essential).
- Good experience of EMC design and test experience.
- Good exposure in design validation process – FMEA, DFM.
- Experience in the creation of supporting design documentation, development reports, BoM, build packs.
- Experience of firmware unit, integration, and system testing.
