Our client, a global banking group, is seeking to hire a talented senior credit analyst to its leading international credit trading group. The role will sit within a highly-regarded fixed income and credit team, with the European nexus based in London but with colleagues and teams globally across Europe, the US and APAC. The Credit group also works hand in hand with prominent DCM, ECM, M&A and other capital markets teams.
The role will focus on:
- Fundamental research of European/global corporate credit markets
- Analysing bonds and loans across high yield, leveraged loan, stressed, distressed and special situations credit, as well as re-org equities, claims, etc.
- Discussing trade ideas with sales and trading colleagues, as well as liaising directly with a top tier client base consisting of leading hedge funds, distressed investors, alternative credit funds, real money funds, etc.
- Supporting the wider effort to originate and execute illiquid and private credit trading opportunities
