Experienced ERP Oracle Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and how to leverage relationships in the Oracle ecosystem, both internally and with Oracle partners. This Global multi-$bn Tax SaaS Provider is a brand name in the industry and provides Tax determination solutions across the world. Their major strength sits in their API connections with ERP Providers, and they have built a multi-bn $ organisation as a result. A cutting-edge, full cloud solution that is already embedded in major ERP providers.
As Sales Director, you will player-coach a team of 3, built from scratch, and you will be uniquely placed to sell to ERP clients through both your contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, their partners and clients.
The Strategy behind the Role:
- Based ideally with a strong contact base in Oracle's sales teams and Oracle partners.
- You will be hunting deals around them, selling in Enterprise Tax determination to those clients.
- You will have a very strong ERP orientation to be able to sell Tax solutions into these clients and able to network strongly in this space and at pace.
- Leveraging Oracle Sales Exec and Oracle Partner Sales Exec relationships to garner leads and accelerate deals from initiation to close in UK & I.
- Hunt deals in the upper mid to Enterprise scale deal space, with the backing of a multi-$bn business.
- Develop a team to focus on individual ERP Providers to develop enterprise deals in this space.
- Reports into SVP level and lead from the front to evangelise the hunter culture.
Location: South East England - primarily London, or South England. Hybrid working minimum 2 days in the office a week.

Your Background:
- With 10+ years in senior sales, your expertise shines in closing enterprise deals for markets between $500 million and $3 billion.
- Skilled in ERP Solutions, you know Oracle (and ideally) SAP partner ecosystems inside-out.
- Have some experience leading a team with a background in formal methods including Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, Sanderson or similar methodologies, and thrive in the UK&I territory.
- An understanding of the Tax element of an Oracle ERP implementation and how it relates to client needs. Specific product training will be provided, so an awareness of that element is sufficient.
- As a Hands-on Sales Director you will build and lead a team of 3-4 who will specialise in different ERP Providers and selling this 3rd Party Tax SaaS offering that is enabling the Finance Office to automate their tax at a global level.
- Capable of selling Tax or E-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems that require that automation.
Ideally:
- You would have a black book of Oracle and Partner contacts to develop deal pipeline.
- Background in also selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing Solutions, but Oracle ERP solutions is the main requirement.
