HV Construction Manager / Site Manager (Permanent)Grid-scale Battery Storage (BESS) & High Voltage (HV) Location: Durham – onsite everyday Salary: £65k baseThis is a key delivery role, responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating internal and external teams, and ensuring safe, timely and commercially sound project execution. Key Responsibilities:Lead mobilisation, on-site construction, and project handover for grid-connected energy projectsManage subcontractors and site teams to deliver in line with NEC3/FIDIC contractsEnsure health & safety, quality, and compliance across all phasesMaintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholdersOversee site progress and reporting aligned with project governance and commercial goalsSupport internal teams to ensure designs, budgets and programmes are maintained✅ What We’re Looking For:Proven track record in construction management for HV, BESS or infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of NEC3, FIDIC or similar construction contractsConfident managing subcontractors and leading multi-disciplinary site teamsCommercial awareness and experience navigating contractual obligationsExcellent communication and reporting skillsKnowledge of CDM and relevant health & safety legislationNO sponsorship is offered for this position
