My client is a tastemaker of cultural trends, fashion, music, design and popular culture and is a creative agency that majors on being on the vanguard of the cutting-edge of cool for content that is tailored and curated for Gen Z audiences.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Growth Director to join our team. As the New Business Director, you will be responsible for leading our agency's efforts in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Gen Z culture (music, entertainment), the social media landscape, fashion (streetwear, sneaker culture, and couture), along with a proven track record of successfully pitching and securing new business within the Gen Z market.

About You: Most likely, you will be a New Business Manager or Director at a Creative Agency who has built an excellent reputation for trust and delivering world-class mar comms services to CMOs and Marketing Directors at blue-chip brands. You’re looking to take a step up and lead the new business function at my client’s business. You will be versed in social creativity, influencer marketing, and emerging trends such as social commerce, AR / VR and AI, too. You will be able to dazzle clients with your expertise, are a trusted go-to consultant for all things social creative and have a way of influencing clients and winning the business through trust and delivering great work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end new business pitch process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and close with poise, structure, and with gravitas.
  • Bring structure, process, and order to the new business pitches, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with CMOs and heads of marketing at leading brands, demonstrating world-class influence and gravitas. Be able to talk knowledgeably about the mar comms landscape, particularly with a focus on social creative strategy and influencer marketing.
  • Collaborate internally with our creative, strategy, finance, and account management teams to develop compelling pitch presentations and proposals and ensure RFI and RFPs run smoothly.
  • Be able to speak the language of marketers, being plugged into industry trends, marquee examples of creativity, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Proven credibility in winning new business in a creative agency setting and understanding Gen Z cultural references in fashion, entertainment, music, film, etc.
