A leading international food business is looking to appoint a National Account Manager to drive growth across their UK & Ireland foodservice portfolio. Their UK business is scaling rapidly and this role is a pivotal hire within their commercial team.
The Opportunity
This is a customer-facing, strategic role with full ownership of key foodservice accounts - including national operators, wholesalers, and distributors. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing long-term customer plans, growing account revenue, and helping shape commercial strategy at a regional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with national foodservice customers across the UK & Ireland.
- Create and implement customer-specific business plans to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activity to deliver profitable outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and product teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market insight and competitor analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in national account management, ideally within FMCG foodservice or buying within the foodservice sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiating at head office level.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Package: £60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits. Home-based with travel across the UK.
