Lead Test / NPI Engineer – ManchesterMy true market leading client has a superb new opening for an Lead Test / NPI Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.You will be building a new team from scratch, giving someone a great chance to influence the direction this company takes with electronic testing, software and automation.To start with the role will be mainly hands-on, with you taking on more managerial responsibility after helping hire a team of x4 NPI Engineers who will be reporting directly to you.Proven experience building test jigs for production is essential. It is also important for candidates to have previous experience working in an industry that has demands for safety-critical or high availability software/hardware.Most of the electronics are digital (DSPs, ethernet, USB) with some analogue I/O cards.Any XJTag experience is of benefit, but not essential.Salary ~£65k dependent on experience.Whilst there is some flexi-hybrid working, this role requires frequent on-site work in Manchester, UK with some very, very occasional travel to China (only if required).
