About You

You’re a capable engineer who’s comfortable stepping into a leadership role. You enjoy combining people management with hands-on contribution and know how to strike a balance between guiding the big picture and refining the detail.

You’ll bring experience in:

  • Leading technical delivery within backend software projects
  • TypeScript or Node.js development, or similar backend technologies
  • Designing and deploying services in a modern cloud environment
  • Working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and scalable system design
  • Agile delivery and team collaboration
  • Building for maintainability, performance and clear documentation

Experience or interest in the following would also be valuable:

  • Managing or supporting connected devices or remote systems
  • Working with Linux-based systems
  • CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes
  • Internal tooling, API design and service orchestration
  • Frontend technologies such as React
  • Networking, messaging protocols or event-driven systems
