This is a senior leadership role for a strategic thinker who lives and breathes social, understands evolving digital ecosystems, and drives creative innovation at scale.What You’ll DoDefine and execute the overarching social media strategy aligned with business goals and brand vision.Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of social media managers, content creators, and community specialists.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, design, PR, and analytics teams to create integrated social campaigns.Own the social calendar, ensuring content aligns with product launches, events, and cultural moments that resonate with target audiences.Pioneer innovation by testing emerging platforms, tools, and formats to keep us ahead of trends.Oversee paid social media strategy and budget allocation in partnership with media teams.Use data and analytics to set benchmarks, measure ROI, and optimise performance.Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors.Serve as the social media thought leader within the company, educating executives and stakeholders on best practices and emerging opportunities.Who You Are8+ years of social media experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in creative, tech, or agency settings.Strategic mindset with a passion for creative innovation and storytelling.Proven experience managing and scaling social teams.Deep knowledge of platform algorithms, social trends, and audience behaviour across major social channels.Strong understanding of paid social media and how it integrates with organic strategies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable presenting to C-suite and collaborating with senior leaders.Data-driven with a knack for turning insights into action.
