Are you an experienced membership leader with a passion for enhancing member value, driving engagement, and delivering strategic results in a complex organisation? We are seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic Head of Membership to lead on the delivery of membership operations, income, benefits, and engagement strategies for a prestigious professional body with global members.
This is a high-profile leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational delivery. You’ll be responsible for shaping and evolving a compelling member offer, managing a team of two managers and supporting a multi-million-pound membership income stream that represents a significant portion of the organisation’s revenue.
Responsibilities:- Lead and innovate the organisation’s membership strategy / benefits portfolio, ensuring engagement across diverse member groups.
- Use data and feedback to continually improve member services.
- Collaborate with digital, finance, content, and governance teams to enhance processes, technology, and communication strategies.
- Champion member-focused insight, leading regular engagement through surveys, focus groups and analytics.
- Contribute to budget planning and oversee the implementation and reporting of membership income streams.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. You’ll be an accomplished communicator, comfortable managing internal stakeholders, committees, and senior executives, and have a proven track record of delivering complex service improvements and digital transformations in a member-led environment.
