Group Financial Accountant (Oxford)

I\’m currently partnering with an innovative, high-growth biotech business to recruit a talented Financial Accountant for their Group Reporting team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, supporting financial reporting for a global operation.About the role:This position focuses on financial accounting, statutory reporting, and fixed asset management, with exposure to technical accounting standards including IFRS 16, IAS 16, and IFRS 15.Key responsibilities:Preparing financial statements, month-end accounts, and statutory disclosuresAssisting with revenue recognition and other technical accounting areasMaintaining and updating lease accounting schedulesAssisting with revenue recognition and other technical accounting areasSupporting balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reportingManaging the fixed asset register, including assets under operating leasesAbout you:We’re looking for a qualified accountant with solid experience in financial reporting, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations. The successful candidate may be moving from a Practice environment, or alternatively have worked in a commercial entity and have exposure to statutory reporting.
