Your new company:
This leading Software provider are looking to bolster their engineering team with 2 experienced Full Stack .Net Software Engineers. You will be working in their state-of-the-art offices in the heart of Guildford 5 days per week, close to the University and with excellent transport links to London and the surrounding areas in Surrey.
Your new role:
You’ll join a well-established business with decades of experience taking them to a market-leading position. Building on an impressive 2024, they pushed towards 100 headcount and have the investment and product positioning to double this in the next 1-2 years. There is particular investment in the Engineering team as the product is scalable to other sectors, so it’s an exciting time to be joining. It’s a rapidly changing environment and they champion Agile, so it’s important you are flexible and like to pick up new technologies. You’ll play a crucial role working on a migration from a desktop product to a cutting-edge web solution (.Net Core / Blazor). The company controls the systems they build, meaning developers can be intrinsic with the user and understand their journey to build a better product. You will be working on real-time systems driven by large data sets, so Engineers with a background in R&D environments would fit well. You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table in whatever guise you join, but with the imminent growth, there are Senior and Leadership opportunities to aspire to. It’s an internally creative team that champions collaboration; they want constant suggestions of how to re-engineer things, not just work from a brief.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- You will ideally have a degree in a STEM discipline, though this is not a necessity.
- We’re looking for 5+ years hands-on experience using C#, working full stack with Blazor, or failing this a modern JS framework such as React/Angular/Vue.
- You may have GUI experience using WPF/MVVM.
- You must have deep cloud knowledge, Azure or AWS is fine as they have customers working with both platforms.
- You will have a strong command of SQL Server and APIs, plus will be an advocate of software design patterns, CI/CD and DevOps in an Agile environment.
- Experience or personal projects exploring Machine Learning and AI would fit well.
