Zed Talent is working in partnership with Our Client, a family run business, established in 2011 in the Jordan Valley. They have become the largest organic medjool date farm in Palestine, whilst also producing a range of other fresh produce. Having recently launched in the UK, our client’s mission is to bring the best that Palestinian food has to offer, whether it is organic medjool dates or olive oil sourced from the hills of Nablus.
As a fast-growing FMCG company, with expansion plans throughout the UK, they now seek Field Sales Executives to build upon their brand, sharing the authentic flavours of Palestine.
As Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the following:
- Achieving/ exceeding sales targets
- Arranging Customer/ Client Meetings, with shop owners and wholesalers to promote the products as well as build and maintain relationships
- Business Development, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This will involve networking, making use of any existing networks, some cold calling and other lead generation activities.
- Relationship Building, nurturing existing client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction which is crucial to maintaining and growing sales.
- Reporting – you will be required to provide sales reports and forecasts while tracking your progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Merchandising, working with the client base to ensure the products are displayed accordingly to maximise sales.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have a proven track record within FMCG. Field Sales Executives with experience working within retail management will be considered highly desirable. In addition, you must be competitive in nature and have excellent interpersonal skills. You should also be comfortable working with clients in person and on the telephone. Furthermore, you will demonstrate the following:
- Great confidence and the ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and resilience to transmit passion throughout the sales process.
- Active listening skills and the ability to understand the customer’s needs
- Persuasion skills and the ability to build rapport
- Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of Our Clients products and unique selling points
- Excellent data analysis skills
