The predicted salary is between 40000 - 60000 £ per year.

We're looking for an Engine Mechanic/Approved Technician to join our team in Stansted and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £50,457.28 per annum, with an additional shift premium for all approvals held. This is a shift-based role with the following pattern: 5/4/4/5/5/5 (7AM to 7PM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in maintenance and repair activities.
  • Work effectively to meet company objectives and turnaround times.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and all relevant manuals.
  • Promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with company directives and strategies for business growth.
  • Maintain quality standards and adhere to Health and Safety policies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Time served aerospace industry apprentice with at least 2 years' experience post-apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a busy engine shop with a previously held company approval on at least one listed engine type.
  • Knowledge of relevant ATA chapters, Part 145, and FAA regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexible, team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
