TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for an Electrician to join our external clients facilities team located in South Tyneside on a temp to perm basis. This key role will provide Electrical Maintenance and services support to Production Departments within the business ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance – upkeep and repair of electrical equipment and systems – cranes, welding plant, dock pumps, lathes, Fabrication Shed and Fitting Shop machinery, domestic installation, etc.
  • Installation, modification and maintenance of distribution systems; HV, 3 phase and single phase.
  • Inspection, testing and fault finding.
  • Completion of reports for PPM system and others as required.
  • Services to ships - installation/upkeep/repair of 110v temp supplies and lights, 440v supplies, shore power, temp fire alarm systems.
  • Support to dockings - operation of dock equipment; gate winches and pumps.

Requirements:

  • Time served electrician
  • 18th Edition
  • Certification to operate MEWP
