One of the most prominent names in Asset Management is currently seeking a Distressed Loan Closing Specialist to join their team during an exciting period of growth. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the closing and settlement of distressed loans, while ensuring full compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
You will support the coordination of documentation among various parties such as agents, borrowers, and syndicate members, helping to ensure that all paperwork is accurate and complete. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with tracking and managing loan disbursements and repayments, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Timely and accurate reporting on all loan settlements will also be a key part of your role, as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve any issues that arise regarding loan terms, disbursements, or settlements.
The firm is known for hiring top-tier talent and is looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a buyside firm or investment bank. To be successful in this position, you must have a solid understanding of syndicated loans and proven experience closing distressed loans.
