Data Centre Operations Engineer – Data Centres | London | Up to £100,00An industry-leading data centre provider is seeking a Data Centre Operations Engineer to oversee and drive operational change processes across a portfolio of large-scale data centre sites Europe and APAC.In this high-impact role, you\’ll define and implement change governance, ensuring all maintenance, upgrades, and deployments are safe, compliant, and risk-mitigated — all while helping shape a best-in-class uptime strategy.Key Responsibilities:Lead operational change control across a global data centre estate.Approve and manage engineering works, upgrades, and modifications.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement activities.Collaborate with site teams and engineering leadership across regions.Develop SOPs, training materials, and risk mitigation frameworks.About You:Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, or controls)Experience managing critical systems (power/HVAC/BMS)Strong understanding of operational strategy in high-availability environmentsAble to lead without direct line management – strong influencerPassionate about improvement, compliance, and risk preventionData centre experience is beneficial but not essential.
