Overview:
Human Engineering is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering services provider in the cranes and lifting equipment sector. We are currently seeking multiple experienced Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineers for permanent, full-time roles. These roles will involve the inspection and certification of a wide range of lifting equipment and rigging gear at client sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough LOLER and PUWER inspections on lifting equipment, rigging gear, and accessories.
- Complete reports and certification documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Liaise with clients onsite and provide technical feedback or advice where required.
- Travel nationwide to client sites β overnight stays are expected.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience inspecting lifting equipment and rigging gear (LOLER qualified desirable).
- Knowledge of relevant standards and inspection techniques (e.g., BS, ISO, LOLER, PUWER).
- Must hold a UK/British passport β security clearance checks required for certain projects.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the week.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
