Our client, a global professional services company, is seeking an Investigations Lead for a 7-8 months contract role.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with senior leadership to assess legal risks associated with investigations.
- Manage investigative teams handling reported allegations.
- Oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations.
- Conduct complex investigations into misconduct related to financial and regulatory issues, including defining scope, interviews, compiling reports, and recommending remedial actions.
- Ensure timely review and investigation of matters, develop trend reporting processes, and make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group.
- Implement global strategies, advise senior leadership on legal and compliance risks, and liaise with compliance and enforcement agencies.
- Train and support investigative personnel, stay updated on legal developments affecting investigations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including:
- Financial fraud and Code of Business Ethics investigations.
- Regulatory and governmental investigations.
- Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks and remedial actions.
- Experience with litigation, including employment-related cases.
