Collaborating within a fast-paced technology organization, this role works closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support the development of financial forecasts. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. The role also involves providing clear and concise analysis of actual and forecasted results for assigned projects, while assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to ensure financial targets are met. This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
What you’ll do:
- Work in collaboration with the senior finance team providing clear and concise analysis as required to enable the business to make effective decisions.
- Assist with the development of forecasts for the business area, measure & report on progress (across cash, P&L, and balance sheet).
- Prepare accurate and meaningful historic analysis by project (month-end results, KPIs, comparison of actuals to forecasts/budget across Cash, P&L, and BS).
- Manage 2 direct reports.
- Ensure area reviews are conducted for projects within your responsibility – working with the operations team to ensure contracts are accurately reported, assisting with scrutinizing financial results, and challenging the business.
