A CAD/CAM Programmer opportunity in a successful established sub-contract precision engineering company specialising in 5-axis milling into various sectors, including aerospace and medical. Expansion means they have an opportunity for another skilled CNC offline programmer using MasterCam.
As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will play a critical role in driving our manufacturing processes. You will utilise your extensive knowledge of Mastercam to design and programme complex CNC machining operations that contribute directly to our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimise CNC programmes using Mastercam for a variety of machining operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret design specifications and ensure accuracy in production.
- Analyse job orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform comprehensive programming.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC programming and machining processes.
- Continuously improve processes to achieve better productivity and quality outputs.
- Proficient in Mastercam with demonstrated experience in CAD/CAM programming.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and machining processes.
