This would be a great role for someone who has a solid background in month end accounting and is looking to step in to a more commercially focused role.The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, passion for continuous improvement and take a proactive approach to problem-solving. This person will also be on their journey to achieving their CIMA/ACCA qualification.What you\'ll doRun weekly trade reportingPartner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive trade reporting and forecasting.Own month end P&L schedules, supporting with variance analysis and ensuring accuracy of numbers being presentedEnsure accurate sales reporting at channel level and allocation of revenue and costsSupport the Head of Finance with maintenance of rolling forecast and budgets, including data uploads for BI toolPrepare the board pack, collating slides from the wider team and preparing standard monthly filesWork with technology team to ensure integrity of BI reporting and continuous improvementSupport Head of Finance with ad hoc reporting and queries from the wider business.What you\'ll bringPart Qualified (CIMA OR ACCA) with some experience in a relevant financial roleProven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and driving resultsKnowledge of or desire to learn Business Central Navision (BC/Dynamics365)Confident using BI tools for data reporting and analysisExcel ‘Ninja’ who has mastered Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Index, Match and the more complex capabilities of ExcelSelf-motivated and able to provide evidence of strong intellectual ability, work-ethic and drive to succeed in an every-changing environmentExcellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills with phenomenal attention to detail and strong affinity to problem solvingWillingness to take on duties outside of your direct remit – with our fast-paced culture you will find yourself working with demands and ad-hoc duties that require a positive and proactive approachDriver of change within organisations, always seeking the most efficient way to operate, and using technology to drive continuous improvementWhy you’ll love it here A supportive, dynamic, and creative workplace.
