The Business Consultant will work for the customer, and the Itineris project and service delivery teams and will be responsible for the successful implementation of the UMAX solution by ensuring customers’ needs are managed, from a business and market regulations perspective. The Business Consultants will focus on providing relevant business and market guidance to our application consultants and will support mediation decisions with the customer Business.
The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK or EIR and requires experience of the market in Ireland, both ROI and NIE, and ERP implementation experience is a plus.
As our Business Consultant with market experience (EIR), you:
- Are the link between Business and IT as a business focused analyst.
- Manage customer expectations, and support the functional experts ensuring Business needs are properly translated into Functional requirements.
- Attend workshops & meetings with the customer onsite.
- Provide feedback to product development, sales and marketing.
- Contribute to the further evolution of the Itineris standard UMAX solution to go to market.
- Collaborate closely and develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pré-sales, product and project delivery.
- Participate in the project progress meetings and proactively identify risk areas.
- Apply your expertise to deliver high quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
- Work with the Itineris consultants in upskilling inline with industry best practices and understand best practices for the energy market in Ireland (ROI & NIE).
- Continuously develop and extend your knowledge within the Utility market (more specific the market in Ireland, ROI & NIE), and transfer knowledge to other colleagues.
What you bring:
- Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent through experience).
- In-depth knowledge of the energy market of Ireland.
- At least +5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant preferable for large, complex ERP/CRM project implementations.
- Expert in identifying business requirements and has an excellent understanding of customers’ business processes.
- Skilled in Business Process management.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English with Dutch as a plus.
- Willing to travel - depending on the project implementation phase - to the client.
- A dynamic team player with a true problem-solving mentality.
- Hands-on, likes to take initiatives and driven by quality.
