We are seeking apprentices who are local to Renfrew, or who are able to reliably commute to the area.
Altrad Babcock’s Higher Technical Apprenticeship Scheme affords you the opportunity to start building your tomorrow today. Our three-year training programme will provide both focussed further education and the chance to work day-to-day with world class technical and engineering professionals on global projects, giving you the practical experience required to take your personal and professional development to the next level.
Requirements:
- 2 Highers (grade A to C) from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Graphic Communications, English or Other Technical Subject (Achieved or Expected) OR
- 2 A Levels (grade A to C) from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Graphic Design, English or Other Technical Subject (Achieved or Expected) OR
- BTech Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering (Achieved or Expected)
Opportunities are available in the following disciplines:
- Metallurgy & Welding
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Mechanical Engineering (Integrity)
- Manufacturing, Material testing and Equipment Qualification
We are interested in recruiting apprentices with ambition and a professional attitude towards their work, the company, training and development. Candidates should show initiative, communicate effectively and embrace a teamwork ethos. There will be a requirement for some travel across the UK and potentially overseas.
