Are you a skilled Application Support Engineer looking to rise to a new challenge? Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for an Application Support Engineer with proven experience in cash management and finance operations to join our team in our Uxbridge (UB8 1QQ) office.

You will be responsible for the BAU maintenance and user support of Pepper’s Internal Systems, working closely with the Development Team to deliver enhancements and new developments. We are looking for someone with outstanding customer service who can support our employees with a range of duties.

As an Application Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing First Line support for all user issues relating to the mortgage application software, escalating to SMEs or developers as required
  • Managing and closing out all internal and external support tickets
  • Maintaining and configuring the internal systems in accordance with user and functional requirements - including maintaining base rates, setting up new products, and user access maintenance
  • Working closely with the Change Team to understand requirements, and develop a deep understanding of current systems behaviour
  • Updating the internal Project Management databases and any libraries pertaining to the origination system to store all documentation and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the system
  • Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the business stakeholders
  • Authoring well-presented client and business-facing documentation
