Together we can change children’s lives. At Place2Be, we believe every child should have easy access to mental health support whenever they need it. We create a safe place in schools where children and young people can open up without pressure or stigma, allowing our highly skilled and diverse counsellors to reach children, young people and their families who need us.
A qualified therapist/counsellor, you’ve been working in the profession for at least a year, and now it’s time to take the next step. As a Place2Be Supervising Counsellor- Peripatetic you will provide quality service in schools in situations such as new school set up, cover School Based Staff long and short term absences and extra support when required. You will effectively manage all aspects of the Place2Be school project in partnership with the school, ensuring that the children and young people are provided with therapeutic and emotional support.
We are seeking applicants located within the East London area and are able to travel flexibly within the locality as and where required.
