We create a safe place in schools where children and young people can open up without pressure or stigma, allowing our highly skilled and diverse counsellors to reach children, young people and their families who need us. Place2Be is recruiting for an exciting new role as part of our innovative North East London programme, launching in January 2026. This 12‑month initiative will deliver high-impact mental health support across four primary schools in Havering and Redbridge.

Responsibilities

As part of a peripatetic team, you’ll work closely with each school community to provide tailored interventions including one‑to‑one counselling, group work, staff consultations, and parent engagement. This is a unique opportunity to help build sustainable mental health capacity in Redbridge and Havering schools, working alongside experienced clinicians and contributing to a whole‑school approach.
