An excellent opportunity has arisen for a diligent and proactive Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable Assistant to join a friendly and collaborative design studio on an interim basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the accounts payable function within a busy creative environment.
The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable or accounts assistant experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with project leaders and the wider business. Experience using Sage is essential and knowledge of Rapport3 would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Setting up supplier accounts in Sage
- Managing invoices through Rapport3
- Monthly reconciliations
- Staff expenses
- Petty cash/card top-ups
- Processing payments
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc administration duties as required
Temporary role with potential to become permanent. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working. Flexible start/finish times. Immediate start preferred.
