You are more than an engineer, that’s why you thrive bridging the gap between development and operations. You are happy to work independently, have a keen eye for process improvement and can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A VC backed early stage company is looking for their first DevOps engineer who wants to own the DevOps function. You will manage your own workload and report directly to the CTO, but work closely with the Head of Engineering and Product Owner. Early stage employees wear many hats, but this company is at the stage where DevOps needs to be its own function to alleviate some responsibility from Product.
You will be directly responsible for building and managing automated systems and streamlining software delivery for speed and reliability. The core technology stack includes Python, SQL, and APIs. Some of the extras are Power BI, Fivetran, and Postgres.
Your area of expertise should be the Azure ecosystem, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, version control, and automated deployment.
Salary is up to £70k, with a hybrid split of 2/3 days in South Wales and a generous benefits package.
No CV is required to start the chat; please apply and we can work through that later. To fast track your application, please follow and direct message me with why you might be the best person for the job.
