A highly regarded design studio is seeking an experienced and proactive Bids Manager to join its collaborative studio team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, well-organised professional to take ownership of high-quality proposals and visually engaging submissions within a creative environment. The role requires someone who can quickly take the reins, with a structured handover scheduled to begin in early March. The successful candidate will bring strong bid and proposal management experience, excellent communication skills, and ideally a background in graphics or visual presentation to support the delivery of compelling, design-focused submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain high-quality marketing and bid materials, including project sheets, case studies, CVs, presentations, brochures and digital assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and strong visual standards.
  • Lead the design, artwork and formatting of client-facing documents and pitch materials, acting as a brand guardian and maintaining visual identity.
  • Support digital marketing activity, including website content, social media, events and basic video or motion graphics.
  • Manage image libraries, source imagery, oversee usage rights and maintain reusable assets to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor bid portals and coordinate the production of bids, tenders, PQQs and competition submissions, ensuring compliance, quality and deadlines are met.

About You

  • Proven experience managing bids or proposals within the built environment is imperative.
  • Confident managing the full submission process from opportunity through to final delivery.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and technical teams to produce persuasive, visually engaging content.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuine interest in design-led work and high-quality visual presentation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (or similar design software) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is beneficial, though not essential.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Package & Benefits

  • Annual bonus of up to 8% (partially tax-free).
  • Daily lunch provided Monday to Thursday by an in-house chef.
  • Comprehensive Medicash health benefit.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Please note that candidates must be available to be confirmed by the end of February to support a structured handover period commencing between 4th and 11th March. While this role is initially offered as a fixed-term contract, there may be potential for a permanent opportunity later in the year.

We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
