This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a brand‑new business by leading the set‑up of an in‑house planning consultancy. You will be focused on delivering exceptional heritage and conservation advice across London, building a planning function and ensuring compliance with conservation policies and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and lead the planning function for the new consultancy.
• Advise on complex heritage projects and ensure compliance with conservation policies and legislation.
• Provide expert advice on listed buildings, conservation areas and heritage assets.
• Lead on heritage and conservation planning matters for a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders and clients to secure planning consents.
• Work independently while driving growth for the new venture.

Qualifications

• Experienced planner with heritage and conservation expertise.
• Strong track record working within London boroughs.
• RTPI qualified or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of planning policy, legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
