A collaborative Architecture Practice is seeking a Document Controller to support a projects team. In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to strengthen project planning, controls, and pipeline management across a diverse portfolio of projects.
You’ll provide dedicated project planning and control support to Project Directors, establishing and maintaining robust schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting accurate project pipeline forecasting.
Key duties- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project pipelines and records
- Ensure data integrity across bids, projects, and financial systems
- Develop workstage structures and draft project plans
- Validate project plans with Job Leaders and manage change control
- Support contract administration, invoicing, contingencies, and fee allocation
- Organise and contribute to monthly project reviews and reporting
- Produce performance, financial, and labour analysis reports
- Review estimates to complete, monitor margins, and support project closure
- Promote best practices and provide training on project systems and processes
- Strong data analysis and numeracy skills
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls (CPM, Agile)
- Knowledge of earned value, cost, risk, and change management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in ERP and planning tools (e.g. VantagePoint, MS Project, P6, PowerBI)
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
