The role will suit an individual who is confident operating both independently and as part of a wider team, with the capability to lead projects from inception through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, with a combined value of up to £25m per annum. This will include full lifecycle delivery, from early‑stage feasibility and design through procurement and into construction and handover.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring successful project outcomes, balancing programme, cost, and quality, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously across their full lifecycle
  • Leading projects from inception, through design and procurement, to construction delivery
  • Acting in an Employer’s Agent capacity during the construction phase (desirable)
  • Administering and managing JCT contracts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project teams
  • Monitoring financial performance and ensuring project profitability
  • Supporting wider business objectives, including client development where appropriate

About You

You will bring a strong track record in project delivery within the built environment, ideally gained within a consultancy setting or a blend of consultancy and client‑side roles. Experience across multiple sectors is important, with particular relevance to retail, education, aviation, and hospitality projects. You will also demonstrate:

  • The ability to manage a varied and demanding workload in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A proactive and self‑sufficient approach to work
  • Professional accreditation such as RICS or APM (or equivalent)
