The Role

As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the commercial and operational performance of the venue. This is not simply a venue management role. We are looking for a leader who can build a high-performing culture, deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive revenue growth and create a destination that families return to again and again. With ambitious 5 year growth plans to open another 10 UK destinations, the role comes with amazing opportunities to progress to senior / board management level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership
    • Full operational site responsibility
    • Recruit, develop and inspire a team of 50+ colleagues.
    • Create a culture of energy, accountability and fun.
    • Lead, coach and develop managers and supervisors.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning.
    • Producing weekly management reports
    • Full P&L management of £3 million turnover
    • Launch of future new sites
  • Guest Experience
    • Deliver world-class guest experiences every day.
    • Monitor guest feedback and online reviews.
    • Drive industry-leading Net Promoter Scores.
    • Drive exceptional customer service throughout the team
    • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Commercial Performance
    • Own venue revenue and EBITDA performance.
    • Maximise admissions, memberships, parties and F&B sales.
    • Identify opportunities to improve spend per head.
    • Deliver labour and cost controls in line with budget.
  • Operations & Safety
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day venue operations.
    • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
    • Oversee attraction availability and maintenance schedules.
    • Lead a strong health & safety culture and statutory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience.
  • Experience leading large team
  • Proven record of P&L management
  • Strong commercial awareness and sales focus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Career ambitions to climb the ladder
  • Experience in leisure, hospitality, FECs, bowling, holiday parks or attractions preferred.
