An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate Building Surveyor to join a growing and highly regarded real estate consultancy in Manchester. Having successfully established themselves in London, the firm is continuing its expansion with the development of a dynamic Manchester office, offering an excellent platform for an experienced surveyor looking to play a key role in the growth of the business.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, with genuine autonomy, flexible working and a clear route for career progression. The consultancy advises a broad range of clients across the commercial and private residential sectors, including investors, developers and corporate occupiers, delivering a full suite of professional and project-led building surveying services.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Undertaking building inspections and producing detailed, high-quality reports
- Delivering contract administration services on refurbishment and improvement projects
- Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations and advising on exit strategies
- Undertaking technical due diligence and planned maintenance instructions
- Carrying out reinstatement cost assessments
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Manchester office
The ideal candidate will:
- Be MRICS qualified within Building Surveying
- Have strong commercial sector experience within a consultancy environment
