Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to maximize external funding opportunities for the community of Trafford.
- Coordinate funding bids to support regeneration and growth in partnership with other teams.
- Manage the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Communities and Place programme and future programmes.
- Ensure effective internal systems are in place.
- Work with stakeholders such as Development and Estates, Strategic Planning, and Highways to secure external funding for projects.
- Support delivery of significant regeneration projects, including New Carrington, Davenport Green, Wharfside, and Old Trafford Regeneration, by identifying funding.
- Use written and communication skills when interacting with businesses, the public, partner agencies, Council officers, and elected members.
- Report to the Inclusive Economy and Communities Manager.
- Work flexible hours, including occasional unsocial hours.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 3-4 years experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing, bidding, securing and monitoring external funding.
