About the Senior Insight Analyst role

As a Senior Insight Analyst at Place Informatics Ltd, you will be responsible for analysing, understanding and extracting the behaviour patterns of people from our geolocated datasets including demographic, economic and location data. You will be a problem solver able to assess the strengths and limitations of different data sources and methodologies.

You will:

• Work with senior management and play a key role in developing the future data strategy and designing impactful solutions.
• Translate complex data analysis into clear business value propositions which will drive revenue growth.
• Extract and visualize the value in the data to help our clients meet their essential data needs.
• Provide thought leadership in enhancing data products through research, analysis, and innovation.
• Act as expert in building and refining demographic and economic datasets, including footfall estimates, disposable income projections, wealth indices, and affluence models.
• Create and deliver the strategy to build and grow our data team.

What experience you’ll need to apply

• Five years’ experience working with retail location strategy, in a geolocation analytical role for major retailers or retail consultancies.
• Skilled in GIS and spatial data.
• Strong data research skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate datasets.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, PowerBI and similar tools.
• Strong strategic thinking and delivery of complex data solutions to senior decision makers.
