An award-winning architecture practice is seeking a design-literate, sustainability-minded architectural communicator to assist in both their design and business development. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part II Architect to learn the full business development lifecycle: bid writing, marketing campaigns, PR, and client communications. This is a chance to pivot from strictly architecture into a more strategic or communications-focused and project management role.

Project Management Support: Oversee or assist with design development, bid tracking, and client/project coordination.

Development & Marketing: Help prepare bids and submissions (writing, layout, coordination). Manage a bid tracker, research opportunities, and identify events or competitions. Write about architecture and sustainability (articles, award entries, or website content).

Creative & Design Input: Contribute to project briefs and early-stage concept design. Communicate design ideas clearly (in words and visuals).

Collaboration: Work closely with the directors and the grounded team to develop strategy and content for bids and marketing.

About you: Part II Architect (or Part I with strong experience), ideally someone with:

  • A background or strong interest in sustainable architecture.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with a strategic/organizational edge.
  • Interest in marketing, client development, and storytelling about design.
  • Ability to manage their time across varied tasks — design, writing, research, and coordination.

Career Stage: A good fit for someone looking to step into a more senior, diverse Part II role, with exposure to both design and practice management.

To apply, please provide a CV and PDF copies of a small selection of your work (3 or 4 examples). We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable, and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
