This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing a brand-new in-house planning consultancy. As the successful candidate, you will lead the development of the planning function and deliver exceptional heritage and conservation advice across London.
We are looking for an experienced Planner with proven expertise in heritage and conservation, ideally with a strong track record of working within London boroughs. In this pivotal role, you will advise on complex heritage projects and ensure compliance with conservation policies and legislation.
You will lead on heritage and conservation planning matters for a diverse portfolio of projects, provide expert guidance on listed buildings, conservation areas, and heritage assets, and collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to secure planning consents.
The ideal candidate will be RTPI qualified (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of planning policy, legislation, and best practice. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work independently.
