This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a brand-new business, leading the setup of a new in-house planning consultancy. As the successful person, you will be focused on delivering exceptional heritage and conservation advice across London. Ideally you will be an experienced Planner with heritage and conservation expertise, with a strong track record working within London boroughs. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in setting up the planning function, advising on complex heritage projects, and ensuring compliance with conservation policies and legislation. You will lead on heritage and conservation planning matters for a diverse portfolio of projects, provide expert advice on listed buildings, conservation areas, and heritage assets, and liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to secure planning consents. The successful candidate will ideally be RTPI qualified or equivalent. You will have a strong understanding of planning policy, legislation, and best practice, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
