Job Description
P&L Recruitment, have been engaged exclusively to recruit a Management Accountant, on a full-time permanent basis for a rapidly expanding client based in North Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will ideally be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA) and will work closely with the Group Financial Controller.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring of cash balances and preparation of cash flow forecasts.
- Assisting with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Managing AP & AR function
- Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of financial report and information
- Any other finance tasks to support the Group FC
Background and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ICAS)
- Strong management accounts experience
- Highly proficient in Excel and IT systems
- Enthusiastic proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure
- Able to convey financial information to a variety of stakeholders
- A desire to continuously improve and innovate
