P&L Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Glasgow to recruit a Head of Finance. This is a senior, influential finance leadership role for someone who wants their expertise to make a tangible difference.
As Head of Finance, you will:
- Work directly with the CEO and trustees, shaping how the organisation plans, spends and sustains its work.
- Own statutory accounts and lead the annual audit under Charities SORP.
- Act as the organisation's principal financial advisor to the CEO and trustees.
- Support the Board and Finance sub committee with clear, confident papers and recommendations.
- Ensure strong financial policies, controls and regulatory compliance.
- Shape financial input to commissioning, contract negotiations and service development.
- Lead the evolution of finance systems, processes and reporting to support future needs.
- Ensure timely, accurate processing across payroll, income and payments.
Qualifications:
- Qualified, Part Qualified, or Qualified by experience Accountant with management level finance experience.
- Working knowledge of audits.
- Confidence presenting financial insight.
