P&L Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Glasgow to recruit a Head of Finance. This is a senior, influential finance leadership role for someone who wants their expertise to make a tangible difference.

As Head of Finance, you will:

  • Work directly with the CEO and trustees, shaping how the organisation plans, spends and sustains its work.
  • Own statutory accounts and lead the annual audit under Charities SORP Act as the organisation’s principal financial advisor to the CEO and trustees.
  • Support the Board and Finance sub committee with clear, confident papers and recommendations.
  • Ensure strong financial policies, controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Shape financial input to commissioning, contract negotiations and service development.
  • Lead the evolution of finance systems, processes and reporting to support future needs.
  • Ensure timely, accurate processing across payroll, income and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified, Part Qualified, or Qualified by experience Accountant with management level finance experience.
  • Working knowledge of audits.
  • Confidence presenting financial insight.
