P&L Recruitment are working exclusively with a rapidly expanding organisation based in Finnieston, Glasgow to recruit a full-time permanent Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced good all-rounder to join a small friendly team and have the autonomy to make the role "their own". This is an office-based role within a collaborative team culture.
The main duties:
- Maintaining detailed and accurate financial records with clear audit trail
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Monitoring cashflow
- Providing financial reports to deadline
- Running a small monthly payroll (10 staff)
- Maintaining ISO 9001 & IIP standards
- Some general administrative duties
The main requirements:
- Previous accounts experience (at least 3 years)
- Sage 50 experience is preferred
- Good communicator with management, staff, clients and suppliers
- Extremely proactive and driven
- Accurate and thorough, with good attention to detail
- Organised with ability to multi-task
- Flexible and able to positively respond to change
The salary is up to £34K depending on experience. The hours are 9am to 5pm. My client offers a great team environment, and free onsite parking. If you have the experience, we would love to hear from you!
