P&L Recruitment are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Credit Controller, on a full-time Fixed Term Contract for 3 months, with the view to becoming a permanent post. This is a busy varied role to join a small friendly team in a fast-paced innovative environment.

The main duties:

  • Chase outstanding debts by phone, and email
  • Reducing aged debt
  • Accurately process and record sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Maintain and update the sales ledger
  • Processing and posting cash received onto Customers’ account.
  • Resolve queries escalating appropriately where necessary.
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist where necessary.

The main requirements:

  • Credit control experience is essential
  • Proficient in Excel
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Strong team working skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Proactive and reliable

My client offers a salary of 30K pro rata depending on experience, as well as an exciting culture and the opportunity to progress.
