P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing Property company based in Glasgow City Centre, to recruit a Client Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a key role to support the wider commercial accounts team with the financial management of a wide and diverse commercial property portfolio. The role requires a self-motivated, driven professional with the skills to manage multiple tasks whilst working meticulously to strict deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quarterly client invoicing
  • Handling account queries, and processing billing amendments for both actual and budgeted developments
  • Raising tenant demands for rents, service charges and ad hoc charges
  • Paying over rent receipts to clients
  • Providing regular and other ad-hoc analysis using Excel
  • Reporting to clients on a timely and accurate basis, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Performing bank reconciliations for approx. ninety client accounts
  • Attending as required client meetings
  • Month end duties

Requirements:

  • Previous accounts experience in Property is essential
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
